Message i know the majority here love the koyo radiator, and its probably the most recomended radiator for the z, but i have had nothing but problems with mine, so i thought i would speak up, since this really pissed me off when i starting thinking about it.

i put my koyo in about 2 years ago. after a month the PLASTIC drain screw on the bottom cracks and leaks......no problem, replaced it with a aluminum bolt + rubber oring.

next......probably 3 months later the PLASTIC bleeder screw on the top starts spewing......ok agian....no problem, but i did have to retap the hole, after not being able to find the right size bolt.

lastly the stamped thin sheetmetal filler neck. my car has had what seemed to have been a mysterious drian of coolant for over a year now. i have just now been able to track it down to a crack in the in the backside of the filler neck, wich was letting out a small portion of coolant every time i drove the car. you can literally bend the filler neck with your hand fairly easily. crap if you ask me. i bought a 85$ radiator for my old nissan truck that has a sturdier filler neck, and drain screw than the 400 dollar koyo.

im switching to howe.
